1968 Buick GS400
I purchased the GS in 1993. The car originally came from Albuquerque, NM. The body was in pretty good shape with a little bit of rust around both quarters just above the tires. Bottoms of quarters were solid, as was rest of car, but did have some minor dents in the fenders. The original paint was junk so I had to strip it. After stripping the old paint & putting it in primer, I tore the car completely apart. I then put patch panels (small ones) in the quarters, fixed the dents, blocked & re-blocked, preped, painted the jambs and reassembled the car. Again, I used Deltron single-stage paint and color sanded & buffed the car. The car originally came with a white interior and a bench seat, which was trash. I put a new black interior with bucket seats in. This was an awesome car eventhough it still need some chrome work and the engine could have used some freshening up.
